Donald J. Grandis, M.D.


Donald J. Grandis, M.D. received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia in 1980 and medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1985. He completed his training in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular diseases at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He is board certified in both. He also has a special certification in nuclear cardiology and echocardiography. He is a fellow in the American College of Cardiology. He performs cardiac catheterizations, coronary angioplasties and transesophageal echocardiograms. He began practicing in the South Hills area in 1992. He has held many leadership positions at Jefferson Regional Medical Center including the Director of Non-invasive Cardiology from 2001-2007, Director of Clinical Cardiology 1998-2001, and President of the Medical staff from 2003-2005. His special interest is in the effects of air quality on cardiovascular health.
